The Story

What a STAR! Flowers like none other!

New growth stunningly bronze-red, turning dark green with maturity, with intricate veinage. Lovely thin-leafed, bushy hoya with upright growth. Easy to grow.

Blooms: Incredibly unique white star-shaped flowers, measuring 15mm across, with snakey lobes projecting into the green-gold, inner corona. Mild, jasmine-like fragrance. Flowers last up to 15 days.
Sun exposure: Does best in bright, indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers a well-draining, open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: The name refers to the serpentine processes of the inner corona reminiscent of the snake headdress of Medusa in Greek mythology. Formerly known as H. sp. 'cottonbell'.
Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.

Each living plant is unique and may vary in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available. Plants are sent bare-rooted.
