The Story

The most unusual / unique foliage – thick, hard leaves, almost heart-shaped with ruffled margins in shades of blue / green, measuring 3cm x 2cm.

A small hoya, well suited to either a hanging basket or trellis.

Blooms: Pubescent creamy-white to pale lilac flowers, up to 10mm in diameter, with red-purple-centred white corona. Up to 20 flowers per umbel. Slight sweet perfume. Small amounts of nectar. Flowers last up to 6 days.
Sun exposure: Flowers well in lots of bright, indirect light.
Water requirement: Water thoroughly and allow to dry out. Does not appreciate constant dampness. Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Full name - Hoya kanyakumariana India IML 1580. Sometimes referred to as the 'mini kerrii.' Slow growing. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.

Each living plant is unique and may vary in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available. Plants are sent bare-rooted.
