Outstanding waxy leaves which are large and thick, measuring up to 7.5cm x 20cm, with pointed tips. Prolific growth pattern.

Blooms: Dense clusters of reflexed flowers in varying shades of red, measuring 12mm across with white corona. Up to 30 flowers per umbel. Abundant nectar. Light, floral fragrance. Flowers last for up to 5 days.
Sun exposure: Medium to bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: Collector’s Number 98. WAOL permitted. Sometimes referred to as the 'Tomato Soup' hoya. Significant colour variation in blooms; from deep red to light red to orange. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
