What's not to love about this sensational foliage? Large, prominently-veined, glossy green leaves, measuring up to 15cm x 19cm. Strongly architectural.
Easy to flower.
Blooms: Delicate butter-yellow, star-shaped flowers, measuring 10mm across, with yellow-centred pink corona. Up to 40 flowers per umbel. Sweet-smelling fragrance. Flowers last for up to 3-4 days.
Sun exposure: Colour come out best in bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining open mix. Does not like to be overwatered.
Maintenance:Â Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: Foliage similar to H. latifolia. Best when provided with strong support. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
