The Story

Exceptionally unique flowers!

Thin, dark green leaves, measuring 14cm x 3cm, with shrubby growth pattern.

Blooms: White flowers. 'Decipulae' literally means to 'trap' or 'ensnare', directly referencing the cage-like structure of the blooms before they open. Up to 10 flowers per umbel. Puts out peduncles at each leaf node. Flowers last for around 8 days with open flowers and up to 20 days with the caged form.
Sun exposure: Requires bright and warm growing conditions.
Water requirement: Thin leaved hoyas need to be watered frequently. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertilise in warmer months.
Special note: Very rare hoya. Shares similarities with Hoya multiflora. Prune to promote branching. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.

Each living plant is unique and may vary in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available. Plants are sent bare-rooted.
