The Story
Fabulous foliage on this carnosa cultivar, with a deeply folded leaf-structure and consistent white margins. A vigorous- growing hoya with stunning, bicoloured leaves, measuring 11cm x 6cm, on red stems.
Blooms: Star-shaped, palest pink flowers, up to 20mm in diameter, with red-centred white corona. Up to 25 flowers per umbel. Nectar producing. Strong sweet smelling fragrance. Flowers last up to 7 days.
Sun exposure: Flowers well in lots of bright, indirect light.
Water requirement: Water thoroughly and allow to dry out. Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance:Â Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Known also as Hoya carnosa 'Krinkle 8 variegated'. There are a great many varieties of Hoya carnosa. Cool hoya: best suited to temperatures between 10-25C.
