The Story

Lime green leaves measuring up to 8cm x 4cm, thick and tending towards a beautiful coppery red in sunlight.

Blooms: White / pale pink hairy flowers, up to 13mm in diameter, with a deep pink corona. Up to 15 flowers per umbel. Nectar producing.  Fragrance like coconut. Flowers last up to 8 days.
Sun exposure: Requires bright and warm growing conditions. Flowers better under higher sunlight levels.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in warmer months.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Native to Australia. Warm hoya: best suited to temperatures between 21-35C.
